As a school, we approached MakeRoom with a brief to create a space we could use as both a ‘breakout’ classroom space and a calm area for children who need a bit of peace and quiet at times.

Throughout the whole process the team were fantastic. We were consulted at every step of the design process and were able to create a space that is both practical and beautiful! The team on site were brilliant and worked with our safeguarding procedures with minimum disruption to the school community.

We now have a wonderful garden room that is used every day by our school, and we couldn’t be happier!

It's been a hectic month since our return to South Africa, but we leave behind a superb new addition to our 18th century Barn Conversion in Sowerby Bridge, confident in the knowledge that the build cost gives us a much improved property valuation over and above the actual "Make Room" quote.

The initial job of removing the original decking and building a new floor went quickly, but then your foreman Jimmy met with a serious accident, but the rest of your team responded very well to the situation, with a special mention to Ben. A real Super-Star...!

So we're extremely happy with the final result and in choosing "Make Room" to build my new Art Studio / Home Office.

We shall arrive again in May 2025, armed with paint brushes and oil paints to see what masterpieces this exciting new studio environment will produce...!!

The first thing to say is it becomes common place for companies/businesses to post customer reviews that if we are honest, are not entirely genuine.

  • Quality of product - I did my research beforehand and I know in the marketplace Make Room use top quality materials that is demonstrated in my final product that is solid, well designed and well insulated.
